✦ Meet Mercedes
Mercedes is a beauty and natural health enthusiast turned content creator. An ex-academic, Mercedes stumbled into the world of beauty blogging and youtubing during graduate school circa 2010. In 2014, after several years of on-and-off blogging, Mercedes published her first YouTube video. Since then, she has been consistently producing videos - and more recently a podcast - around eco-beauty and alternative health and lifestyle. A researcher at heart, Mercedes strives to always bring a discerning and honest perspective to her audience through long-form content rich with nuance, depth and detail. She is also a full-time mom to two beautiful children, and wife to fellow UChicago alum/classmate (they connected Modern Love-style many years after the fact). Mercedes and her family are currently based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Everyone is born under a different moon phase, which can signal qualities about an individual’s disposition, goals, outlook, and approach to life. I was born under a first quarter moon, so I’d like to carry that energy signature forward into this monthly offering.
