In Fiore. A brand with so much depth, so much mystery, so much intrigue. Total floral seduction and perfumery as medicine. Special in ways that are hard to express in words, Founder/Creatrix Julie Elliott is a true role model. She was a highly anticipated guest on Your Purpose is Beauty, and everything she shares on health, wellness and beauty on the In Fiore journal I read and re-read. Gressa
A minimalist makeup and skincare brand focused on the "art of adornment," Gressa has been a pioneer in green beauty. The Minimalist Corrective Serum Foundation became a cult product in 2015, and Svetlana (Gressa's founder) has continued to thoughtfully develop and expand the brand's range since then. Some of my all-time favorites from the line are the eye tints (which make incredible eye primers, all over colors, and eye liners), the Air Focus foundation brushes (especially the mini), and the Lip Boosts in Bare and Aux Rouge. My more recent favorites include the Siberian Pineapple Pressed Serum and the Essentialist Concealer Clicksticks.

Inlight Beauty
I initially discovered this uniquely special organic skin and body care brand through Beauty Heroes in 2018, and Inlight has gone on to become one of my biggest skincare inspirations of all time. You can purchase many of their products through Beauty Heroes (currently the only US stockist) but I think a visit to their home site and perusing the full range is an experience unto itself.

While I had known of them for years prior, 2022 was the year I fell in love with Swedish beyond organic makeup line (M)anasi 7. From pots of richly pigmented multi-purpose cream colours to pans of silky powder to the perfect mascara, this is my soulmate makeup line. My must haves are the Earth & Clay shadow quad, All Over Colours in Etruscan, Sisserou, and Damaskino, Eye Glow Colour in Ochaya and the Precision Mascara.

In addition to Beauty Heroes, I think Boxwalla is curating memorable beauty boxes worth having on your radar. Instead of every month these ship every two months and I’ve discovered brands like Lepaar, Monastery, and Twelve Beauty which have been noteworthy standouts.
