This episode released on Friday October 9th. This is clearly a charged topic but Patreon is the perfect space to have an open conversation about it. The public rhetoric around this is highly weaponized to divide people, especially right now! In addition to my own lived experience and unfolding personal views, I feel it is important to consider issues like medical freedom, the assault on philosophical and religious exemptions for school aged children, bodily sovereignty, the public health establishment, collectivism v. individual autonomy, health inequality, for-profit medicine and so on and so on. I couldn’t possibly cover everything but as with all things, I hope being transparent around my own development and decisions is helpful on some level.
