Your Purpose is Beauty Ep. 70: Ciao for 2021!

Hi everyone,

As many of you know I started a podcast, Your Purpose is Beauty, in late 2019. To date I have made 70 episodes (50 on the regular feed and 20 are exclusive to Patreon), which can all be found on your podcast player of choice. A number of the episodes can also be streamed on www.lamouretlamusique.com but I had fallen behind keeping that updated (this is certainly something I will eventually catch up on, along with transcripts).

I have been contemplating uploading the library of episodes here to YouTube as well - I know not everyone seeks out podcasts on podcast players, and eventually I'd like to add a video component to podcast recording (future plans!). I am toggling between whether to start a new podcast-specific channel, or upload the episodes here to L'Amour (I have seen this done both ways by creators I follow and think it can be useful and successful either way).

Right now I am leaning towards creating a separate podcast channel, but until I make that decision I thought I would upload the final episode I published for this year (2021) before taking a 4 month leave to have my second baby and move out of state with Family L'Amour. If you haven't yet had a chance to listen to Your Purpose is Beauty, I hope this will be a good intro and make you interested to explore more - the podcast is a mix of interviews with brand founders and other creatives in the eco beauty space, and solo episodes that touch on a wide range of beauty and wellness-related ideas and themes. The episodes on Patreon are more unfiltered, personal, and at times controversial topic-centric extending well beyond beauty.

I would really welcome your feedback about whether or not you would find streaming podcast audio here on YouTube useful, and what kind of organizational structure you would find easiest to navigate. A temporary goodbye for now! I’m taking the rest of 2021 off (Sept – Dec) to give birth, mother, and move out of state – big changes for Family L’Amour! In this episode I share details about all this, as well as how you can access lots of archived work I’ve done in case you don’t want to go 4 months with no new L’Amour content. I will be back on YouTube, this podcast, and my main Instagram account (@lamouretlamusique) in January of 2022, and will continue to share spontaneous content on Patreon, the Patreon Instagram stories feed, and newsletter over the coming 4 months. The second half of this episode is beauty chat because that’s always a good note to end on.
